We don't just move life-saving medicines. We also move ideas.
Most of our work happens over the counter at pharmacies and clinics. But it speaks to the biggest open questions in global health: how to deploy programs through the private sector, how to integrate them into national health systems, and how to finance care only after it's been delivered. These aren't new ideas, but they cut against decades of habit. Our communications and advocacy is how our learnings reach those deciding what global health looks like next.
American Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene Annual Meeting
One highlight took place during the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) week in late September, where we participated in a pivotal meeting on innovative health financing in Africa. The conversation focused on three interlocking themes: results-linked financing that pays only for verified health outcomes; how technology brings private and faith-based providers into accountable, scalable care; and government leadership in mobilizing domestic resources to build sustainable health programs on their own terms. These conversations continue to evolve toward a results-linked fund known as Healthy Futures.
In a video address at the event, Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah (Chairman of Nigeria's House Committee on AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria) announced he is championing national legislation to establish results-based financing for HIV, TB, and malaria, with the private sector as an essential partner. “We're not starting from scratch,” he said.
We were named one of 33 innovators in Unlock Aid's inaugural Solutions Index, highlighting the “most promising organizations delivering results across global health supply chains and beyond.” The index points to a new generation of organizations delivering measurable impact with sustainable business models.
In March 2025, we were announced as one of the first recipients of the Foreign Aid Bridge Fund, a short-term grant to frontline organizations responding to health and other crises worldwide. The fund positioned itself both as a temporary bridge and a powerful signal to new donors and investors, recognizing “organizations providing life-saving work with a demonstrated track record of delivering extraordinary impact at scale, cost-effectively, proximate to the communities served, and with sustainable business models that are not overly dependent on a single revenue stream.”
In April 2025, we were among the first dozen organizations to be featured on the ‘Urgent & Vetted’ list of funding priorities by Project Resource Optimization (PRO). This initiative identified “high-impact, cost-effective, and shovel-ready humanitarian, health, and development activities” affected by USAID funding pauses. PRO curated its list by analyzing $35.5 billion in obligations across more than 22,000 entries “to narrow in on the areas of USAID’s portfolio that are most likely to be life-saving and cost-effective.”
